What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They help a site remember things, such as whether you are logged in.
Do you need cookies to use the viewer?
No. The DOCX viewer works without any cookies. It doesn’t save your files, and it doesn’t save anything about the documents you open.
Cookies we may use
- Technical cookies. The site may set a short-lived session cookie, such as PHPSESSID, so the server can handle your visit. It is deleted when you close your browser.
- Admin cookies. WordPress sets login cookies, such as wordpress_logged_in and wp-settings, only for people who log in to manage the site. Normal visitors don’t get these.
Cookies we don’t use
We don’t use advertising cookies, social media cookies or tracking cookies. We don’t currently use analytics cookies either. If this changes, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Here’s where to look:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
Blocking cookies won’t stop the viewer from working.
